Bringing home a new puppy is a big commitment. You may find yourself facing a few nights of interrupted sleep as your new little furry ball of love gets accustomed to his or her new home.
Your new puppy will need monitoring to make sure he or she does not chew on anything that may be harmful for them. Your puppy will need frequent potty breaks while they learn the routine of going potty in a designated spot and not inside your home. They will need love, attention, and sometraining to keep their curious little selves satisfied. This will help prevent them from finding ways to occupy their free time in manners that you may not approve of, such as chewing on items that you would rather not have tiny puppy bite marks on.
Bringing a new puppy into your home is not a quick and easy decision. A puppy is a living creature that takes time and dedication. A puppy isnot a toy or an ornamental accessory. I encourage everyone that is considering bringing a new puppy into their home to ask themselves if they are ready for the commitment for the life of the puppy. There will be ups and downs along the life of the puppy. You may have unexpected vet bills, potty accidents, a chewed-up item, and so forth. On the other hand, you will also have days where no matter how stressed you may be from the life around you, all you need to do is pick up your little happy ball of love and suddenly the world is bright and happy again. Your little puppy will bring endless smiles and joy. They will become an irreplaceable part of your family that will fill your heart with love and happiness.
If you have decided that you are ready for the commitment of bringing a puppy into your home, the next step that I would highly recommend is to research the breed that you are most interested in and be certain this is the breed for you. Pomeranians are small, spunky, and have lots and lots of fur. A Pomeranian puppy can be fragile, meaning do not allow them on furniture unattended because if they jump off, they could break a leg. Pomeranian puppies also love to follow you around and may sneak up behind your feet, so you must be careful and aware of where you are walking.
French Bulldogs are tough and spunky dogs, however because of their uniqueness they sometimes require extra care such as cleaning any folds in their skin, making sure they do not get over-heated, and keeping them from swimming in deep water unless they have a lifejacket because they can sink like a brick.
There are many possible health conditions associated with all breeds of dogs, this includes Pomeranians and French Bulldogs. Be sure to thoroughly research your chosen breed to make sure it is an all-around good fit for your family.

There are several ways to get your new puppy to you. This is by driving, flying, or hiring a certified pet transportation service. Each option is the sole responsibility of you, the buyer. We are more than happy to help in planning and recommendations.
First, you must reserve a date in advance to pick up your puppy. If you are driving to pick up your puppy, we will schedule a safe public location to meet and bring your puppy to you. For the health and safety of our dogs, we do not allow strangers to our home. We are more than happy to drive up to an hour away from our home for no added fee. If you would like us to drive further, this must be agreed upon and planned in advance. There will be a transportation and fuel fee for driving more than one hour.
If you plan to fly to pick up your puppy or plan to hire a certified pet flight nanny: A $200 transportation and Health Certificate fee applies if your puppy will be flying. A Health Certificate will be needed in order for your puppy to fly. These are only valid for 10 days and you will need to plan the flight date accordingly. We do need to know in advance so that we have time to schedule a vet appointment to acquire a Health Certificate within 10 days prior to your flight.
The nearest airport is Spokane International Airport. This is approximately 4 hours roundtrip from our location. We will meet you or your pet flight nanny at the airport with your puppy. Your puppy will come with a goodie bag including treats, toys, and a small baggie of their food. If you would like us to provide anything else for the trip, please contact us and we can work out the details together.
I have worked with a number of Certified Pet Transporters. There are two that I would specifically recommend over and over. They are both very trustworthy and are licensed in this area. They give updates along the way and help the process to be easy and stress-free. I am happy to help you get set up with one of these wonderful ladies. Typical costs to ship a puppy with a pet flight nanny, including transportation and Health Certificate fee are: $800-$1,000.
